This beautiful vintage-style ring features a polished natural carnelian cabochon filled with dramatic layers of orange, reddish-orange, golden orange, cream and white. Unlike the simpler broad bands seen in some of the other rings, this stone displays multiple fine parallel bands mixed with wider sweeping layers, creating an almost topographic pattern across the cabochon. A rich red-orange section through the center adds even more contrast against the lighter banding.

The stone also shows noticeable translucency, especially from the back, where the warm orange, golden and red areas become particularly vivid.
